Guns roots, and the inspirations of these 5 guys really show through. One of the songs that really caught my attention when I first listened to “The Devil You Know” was “Needle To The Bone” because it really stays true to the original L.A. The Devil You Know is the 2nd studio release by founding members Tracii Guns & Phil Lewis since reuniting (they also released the excellent Live In Milan CD/DVD).

Guns recently took the time to discuss Checkered Past, some choice L.A. GUNS album since 2002s 'Waking The Dead' to feature founding guitarist Tracii Guns and vocalist Phil Lewis the group will issue a follow-up effort, 'The Devil You Know', on March 29 via Frontiers Music Srl. That video reached 21,000 views in 24 hours, proving the hashtag of the video, #RockAintDead, to be fully true. They topped that with The Devil You Know in 2019, and their newest album 2021’s Checkered Past is second only to their iconic debut release for raw energy and instant-hit, killer songs. Less than two years since the release of 'The Missing Peace' the first L.A. The title track “The Devil You Know” features the booming bass of Johnny Martin and the “get-stuck-in-your- head” kinda riffs from the soul of Tracii Guns wrapped around a fairly dark, yet fitting, music video.
